About Me

Ok, so now that you’ve bothered to find me, I’d better give you a brief history lesson to allow you to catch up.

I left Brinsworth Comprehensive School in 1989 and for the majority of you vanished without a trace, quite on purpose I might add, as I found the whole school thing to be one of the most harrowing experiences that I have ever had.

Since leaving school with a grand total of 2 GCSE’s at grade ‘C’ (I know some of you would be amazed that I could even achieve that!), I’ve managed to acquire a BTEC OND in Computer Studies, a BTEC HND in Computer Studies and a Degree in Software Engineering. To add to this I’ve recently completed a course in Hand Plastering. (Yes, I know a bit of a radical change in direction!)

I was made redundant in March 2007 after almost 10 years as an Electronic Payments Specialist & I.T Systems Analyst. I then spent just over a year as an Installations Engineer in the field of Time and Workforce Management.  I always saw this position as temporary as I needed to find something fairly quickly that would allow me to continue paying my bills. After just over a year of looking I have now found a role that better suits my career aspirations. I am now employed as a Service Delivery and Installations Manager, a position which I hope will last for several years.
